The International Road Federation's Global Road Achievement Awards (GRAA) program is a competition to honor and recognize road-industry projects that demonstrate excellence and innovation in road development worldwide. The program, which is designed to elicit information on successful projects and programs from leading industry organizations, will draw attention to these leading projects and organizations, providing a road map for others to follow in continuously improving and advancing road development worldwide.
Winning projects are honored at IRF's Annual Awards Luncheon in front of a global audience of hundreds of road professionals and government officials. Winners are also profiled in detail in IRF's Book of Winning Projects which reaches thousands of transportation professionals around the world.
The competition is open to all organizations involved in the Road Industry. Entries across the Award's 11 categories are judged by panels of expert judges drawn from IRF's academic members. There is no limit to the number of entries an organization may submit. Entries are open to projects that may have been recognized in other award programs, provided that they have not been recognized in a previous IRF Global Road Achievement Award competition.
